Sorry, your browser doesn't support Java(tm).    Formed in 1999 by drummer Phil Brereton, following the demise of his former band PARANOIA and a ten year 'lay off' from the music scene.
Maelstrom with their own sound, could possibly be describedas a meltdown 
of Siouxsie And The Banshees, Penetration and Incubus Succubus. 
   Their first CD, an E.P. entitled 'femme fonce', was released in 2001 and
was due to be followed up with a second CD in 2002.
However, a very busy gig schedule prevented the band from ever making it into the recording studio that year, a year which also saw them supporting top U.S. band The Cruxshadows on part of their U.K. tour.
Maelstrom are back in 2003, and hopefully with their overdue and long awaited second release.
